The Story of Porkers Cottage and Stables

We started our small-holding journey in February of 2020, when we took over Porkers cottage, it was a complete lifestyle change for us and is a very exciting new chapter of our lives. 

Porkers cottage itself has been around for a long time, the oldest part of the house dating back to the 1750's.  It is surrounded by 6 acres of paddocks and woodland.  It was in one family for many years until the 1990's when it underwent a complete renovation and was extended.

The previous owners from 2000-2020 had many animals including Reindeer onsite (you may have seen them on many christmas adverts) and dotted around you will see evidence and pictures from their time here.

 There are a few outbuildings onsite including our lovely converted stable block which is now self contained holiday let/studio rooms that overlook the paddocks and animals.

Onsite we also have a classic car workshop where you will see a few interesting vehicles including some from WW2,  which occasionally go for a drive around the paddocks.
